Parity Energy showcased at SEFCON II on 10/3/11, a WMBAA-sponsored conference raising awareness about Swap Execution Facilities and their role in the financial OTC markets. Keynote speaker Gary Gensler, CFTC Chairman, remarked that “SEFs are critical to bring transparency to the opaque swaps market.” Parity’s presence at SEFCON II demonstrated its status as a leading SEF candidate for commodity options. In this respect, Parity intends to apply for SEF status as soon as regulations are finalized.
